Terms of Use

Welcome to 2ofUs. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the 2ofUs mobile app (the "Service"), which is provided by 2ofUs Team ("Operator", "we", "us"). The Service is a private, shared space for two partners to play games and build their story together.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

• You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your account and sign-in credentials secure.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account.
• Account deletion: You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@2ofusapp.com. Deleting your account removes your profile and your content from your shared playground, and may affect what your partner can see.

3. Pairing With a Partner

2ofUs is designed for two people. When you create or join a "playground," you are paired with another user using an invitation code. Content, scores, and subscription status are shared within that playground. You are responsible for who you choose to pair with, and you should only share invitation codes with someone you trust.

4. Your Content

• "Content" means anything you create or submit in the Service, such as game clues, guesses, story text, and answers.
• You retain ownership of your Content. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and sync it solely to provide the Service to you and your partner.
• You represent that your Content does not violate any law or these Terms, and that you have the rights to submit it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
• Submit Content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the Service, its databases, or its security features.
• Circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass any subscription, payment, or technical restriction.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the Service.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated means to access the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers an auto-renewable subscription called 2ofUs Premium with the following characteristics:

• Subscription options: a monthly plan and an annual plan.
• Pricing: The current price for each plan is shown in the app and confirmed at purchase.
• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID / App Store account and processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment details.
• Auto-renewal: Unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription automatically renews, and your Apple ID is charged for the next period within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing your subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in the App Store app.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple according to its refund policy; we do not issue refunds directly.
• Free features: Some features are available without a subscription. Premium unlocks additional games, higher play limits, and additional content features.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, games, word bank, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws, except for your Content. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding, trademarks, or content except as needed to use the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or Content, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount, if any, you have paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or access if you violate these Terms, or if we decide to discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect after termination.

11. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may update or change the Service, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
